I have now bought 4 cars from here and always come away having had great experience. Not your traditional pushy sales guys who dont listen. Martin brilliant in understanding what we wanted in terms of size and budget and then came up with car which we were really pleased with. Too dealership!
I have always had a great service from Barons BMW. It's an honest dealership with no surprise extras. I love the video updates on the progress. I would have given 5 stars if the people who were on the desk were updated with better information from the mechanics who carried out the service and if my service book was stamped. Other than that, excellent!
I have been a customer at this dealer for nearly 20 years. In that time I have seen numerous changes.My present experience is that the personal touch and communication is not as good as it once was. I like to have relationships with individuals, it is nice to be recognised and feel valued, but a lot of that has now gone with new faces and what seem to be prescriptive processes.Ian Regan in Service though remains totally brilliant! A total star who really gets what good customer service is all about.
I booked for my car to have an oil service and MOT last Saturday. First of all, not on any of the correspondence did they say at what time I needed to drop the car off. I sent them an email on the Thursday of which I never received a reply. I called them on the Friday at 11am but the phone rang and rang until someone from sales picked up. He told me he would get someone to call me back. I never received a call. I dropped the car off at 9am which was obviously too early as it wasn't finished until 4pm. They asked if I wanted the car washed and hoovered. I said don't worry about washing, please just hoover the mats. This either wasn't done or was done badly because they looked the same as when I dropped it off. It's a shame because the last time I used this garage for a service and MOT around 4 years ago the customer service was exceptional. I won't be using this garage again and will instead be using a BMW specialist. They have put me off using a main dealer ever again.
