A few years ago (maybe 2) I went to change a tyre at the Bishops Stortford branch - after finding out my car was a lease car, they then told they can't do my tyre - as they've run out of air.
The service was good and quick but very expensive to change a light bulb
This branch of Kwik Fit is staffed by courteous and helpful individuals. In this regard Tony Dance in particular, has to have special mention. Highly recommended based on several years experience as a customer.
Was concerned that some recent reviews have not been that positive. Chose to go there for an MOT as a family member visited there recently with a bonnet issue 'emergency' , which was immediately addressed and without charge!My visit was equally satisfactory. The appointed time was adhered to and the 40 year old car thankfully passed without any issues.
Went in against my better judgment as car battery had just died, price quoted 50 more than the A.A had suggested. No battery test done just stated be about 25 minutes, after that time the so called technician states that he can't change the battery as too much to take off, too many wires etc to access the battery on my 2012 Ford focus! Total.waste of time..dodgy place at best.A.A came out again retested the battery and it was fine, my Bluetooth connection had stayed on and drained the power..150 saved..A.A membership is much cheaper than relying upon cowboys!
