Over priced and over rated , this salon needs to realise it's not in Mayfair . I will never return after being charged 200. For diabolical colour and rubbish customer service . Nice enough staff but they are so money orientated and never stop trying to hard sell products making it a less than relaxing environment. Get a grip with your pricing and stop ripping people off
I cannot speak highly enough of this place. I have been going for 6 years and love everything about it. Kevin is my hero, an absolute genius with my short hair, always ready with great ideas for the next style. I have left that salon happy for 100% of my appointments, and the styles look good and make me feel great for months afterwards. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
I've had my hair cut and coloured at M several times now. Lovely friendly staff. Easy to book online. Highly recommended.
Shocking, disgusting treatment (not from the hairdresser or colourist) but from the Manager, Kevin.I have been going to M Salon for a number of years (on and off) and today I have been told by Kevin, If you do not pay the full amount we can no longer take care of you - I was charged 189 for a regrowth root semi-permanent with a blow dry (in the hair prices, the colour costs 68 and the blow dry was 21, so 89 total).I had already paid a deposit of 89, but Kevin told me this is for the colourist, Lauras time per hour so I need to pay another 89 for the treatments.I asked, why is the colourists time per hour NOT mentioned in the price menu? and I know of no other hairdressers who operate in this manner - no answer, instead told, youve been told before we charge Lauras time per hour (no clear explanation has ever been given to me and very confused by cost of Lauras time per hour plus the charge of the service treatments). Instead, I was chastised on the shop floor by a Manager who is a bully.I was told I had booked for more additional treatments (highlights), which is not true. Kevin told me this resulted in Laura having free time and I should have called them 48hours before to let them know I would only be with Laura for 1hour. I was asked at my last visit to pay a deposit of 89 for the next visit and told to pay any remaining amount depending on the treatments on the actual day. Also, I dispute the fact Laura ended up having a free hour as she had a client immediately after me.(I was with Laura for 40minutes only).I will be reporting the pricing to trading standards. I also wish to express how sorry I felt for the receptionist and hairdresser who were clearly uncomfortable with the situation and by Kevin. The shop clearly is not a happy place to work as there are many hairdressers who have left and I can understand the reasons why.I would like to rate this zero stars over the distressing treatment I received. I clearly question the prices, which arent even clear to the receptionist/hairdressers.
