An awesome place to train.
I know when people read these reviews they think they are written by family members or by people who have always been fit and find it easy! I assure you this is not the case. I have Been a member of the Lift Off Crossfit family for nearly 2 years now! it is the best thing I have ever done, everyone is so lovely! I had the usual fears of being a fuller figured girl going into the unknown! Would people look at my wobbly bits when I exercised? would I ever be able to do 10 burpees in a row! Would I slow the class down with my lack of fitnes and skills? I can assure you these concerns were completely unfounded. I have never felt more comfortable in a gym environment! If your thinking about joining, DO IT!!
Been a liftoff member for over a year, it's the only "gym" type place I have actually stuck too and enjoy going to. Workouts are challenging but scaling options are available so you never feel out of your depth or not included in a class workout. Level of coaching is excellent, they always encouraging and spotting where you need to improve. There is a great community feel - I have made so many new friends who are more like family to me. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I definitely would!
Decided to try crossfit a couple of years ago and LiftOff was my intro. The coaches here are fantastic and actually care about the development of the people that walk through their doors. The community is very supportive and encouraging, and the programming is accessible yet challenging. There is no comparison to a typical gym. They've got me hooked!
Found this gym late last year. Great community with first class coaching. Has helped me increase my strength and endurance massively whilst learning new Olympic lift movements. Crossfit workouts have also given me new targets to aim for as it is very diverse. ( no more boring repetitive training regimes)Highly recommend these guys. !!!
