A brilliant gym if you want to avoid the 'globo gym' environment of endless running machines. There is plenty of equipment with lots of variety (you'll be hard pressed to find another local gym with atlas stones and a car deadlift). The staff are great and the price is brilliant for what you get. The gym also holds regular strongman events and does have a pretty good community feel to it.
Brilliant gym for anyone who wants to lift heavy stuff in a friendly gym. The staff are always happy to help with advice / spotting you etc and it's always clean in the showers and toilets. The equipment is well organised with plenty of space for the strong man type training as well as the usual stuff.
Great gym, friendly staff, good equipment. I love the unique setup there, it makes for a very interesting workout.
