When my mate said we were going to the SPAR for dinner I was a bit taken aback, but he hasnt led me astray so I went along with it.This place is brilliant, like a mini food hall in a super market.They have various places to eat, we went for the burger place. A chicken burger and 4 wings was 10 and well worth the money. The food was delicious.But I think what's great about this place is you can go to the fridges (in the shop section) and buy bottles / cans of beer (or soft drinks) and drink them with you dinner.Great idea and very well implemented.

Street food inside a grocery store?Each of your party can choose different foods and drinks. Quite unique and enjoyable.
A really odd place. Refill stations for you wine bottles, cereals and oils as you walk in. Various fresh food and things you don't see in other places. The cakes looked really nice but as they are all stored unpackaged in open baskets at toddler hand height I gave them a wide berth. The front also has a variety of eateries set up to mimic a fashionable outdoor food hall but indoors. You can meet with friends and each have a different sort of grub whilst sitting in the same space. I popped in for a coffee which was very nice. It came in a clay cup with no handles, and I'm sure you won't believe this either, no saucer!! I stirred my coffee but then was at a loss as to where to put my spoon, I could have left it in my cup but as I'm not a barbarian I levelled it nicely on my napkin. Good job I avoided the cake as without a napkin I would likely have got crumbs everywhere.
I love the concept of the store, there is so much local produce on offer and they're really making an effort to reduce plastic packaging; veg, rice, grains, nuts and washing liquid are all sold without packaging! It's also great for vegan and gluten free etc. I had a really delicious 'Beet Salad' from the salad bar. It was a generous portion with loads of ingredients.
