Embarrassing, went a couple of weeks ago. We arrived there around 1am and it was dead. Staff just stare at you and we were the only ones there
Great night out, staff made sure we was looked after
Me and my friends won a competition for NYE. 300 behind bar and vip area. Although we had already spent 40 on entry tickets. Arrived at 11:30pm & Informed staff we had arrived and was told we would get 2 free bottles of whatever we wanted and mixers. After waiting 20 minutes and having told staff twice we had no drinks we were given a 70cl bottle of grey goose to our table at 11:55pm. As we were pouring our first drinks we noticed that the bottle wasnt full and not genuinely grey goose. It didnt come from the bar, it came from out the back and was clear it had been tampered with. After complaining about this to numerous staff members and being fobbed off by all of them, we confronted the manager Moneer who was unnecessarily aggressive and rude with his response being what do you want me to do? Move out of my way. As you can imagine, all of this really spoilt our new years but on top of all that;* toilets had no toilet roll, no soap & had sick up the walls. General hygiene was atrocious * Our mixer; Coke, was flat, watered down and had no syrup * Smoking area was filled with building materials and all seating was soaking wet* Music was poor as was the DJ* staff had no customer service skills, did not have a clue what they were doing* Not being able to use card, cash only * Bar ran out of red bull which seems pretty ridiculous on such a big night/event This place is an utter shambles and a joke of a club. It is inevitable that this place will close very soon. Please do not waste your time or money going here!
I didn't think it was possible to take the fountain which was an average club and make it worse!Club 7 is full of TOWIE wanna be's who are the most miserable bunch of people of I have had the pleasure of meeting. They either think they are Z listers or to important to speak to you because they are the other side of a "VIP" rope. How to make a dive club worse, let a wanna b celebrity buy it.Over priced waste of a club.Hope it folds soon and it turns in to a better club.DJs have no idea of the audience and just play what's fashion in more London based clubs.Sorry to say this place has been ruined by Z lister wanna be's**Response to the below comments from the establishment **Thanks for your below reply, however the type of people you are trying to attract with the, let's be honest now pitifully poor "VIP" area which even when the club is completely empty you do not allow people to sit down in with the fake buckets of ice and empty bottles, are the type of people who ruin the experience of the club.I do appreciate you try to cater for the wannabes who might blow 600 on a cheap bottle of champagne but why ruin it for the normal people who want a good night out in a club that's not trying to be more than it can actually be in Bishops stortford. As for the DJs if you can't read a room and play music the crowd want to hear on the night as opposed to just playing a set you recorded earlier in the week I don't think that makes them "credible"
Drinks are overpriced. Paid 50 for a bottle of prosecco that you can get for 9 in Tesco.
