Friends is a gem on the High Street with a superb selection to browse through every time I visit. Victoria has incredible knowledge and always looks out for interesting items that come in which I will be interested in. The goods she sells are always of the highest quality. I had been searching everywhere for a dress for the Easter Ball at my school and had experienced no luck at all. I saw friends, a boutique which I had never seen or thought to visit before, and decided to try it out. If I am honest at first glance I thought Id have no luck here either but ,like a magical chest, a lovely assistant managed to find quite a few lovely dresses which I never suspected would look at all nice on me, but did!!! Victoria, the much spoken about owner, was nice but the wonderful assistant who served me and helped me find a beautiful red dress was much more attentive and incredibly complimentary. I havent visited friends in a while but intend to soon, I also want to offer them a white Ted Baker skater dress which I do not want anymore. Great hidden gem, would recommend!!!
Do not at all recommend this boutique at all. Rude owner, think her name is Victoria. So very hostile, and on her phone when trying to ask about garments. I was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable, and she was extremely abrupt with me. The shop is alright, nothing special, however the owner/worker portrays it as harrods. I am really shocked as have been to many boutiques in Bishops Stortford and they are all so friendly. The irony is, the boutique is called friends which is certainly a misfitting name!
